1. Laziness - Due to sleep, laziness and bliss, you will not be able to attain devotion by being tamoguni.

2. Luxury - Being unholy due to fun, artificial nature and Rajoguni nature desiring a luxurious life, you cannot become a devotee.

3. The Desire for Fame - It is true that due to the devotion of Lord, Kirtan, blessings of Guru, natural fame increases, but if there is a lot of fame in the mind, arrogance, arrogance will come, it reduces solitary devotion, you are extroverted. You will go, hypocrisy will come in you and this is the reason for the fall. The true devotee never wants fame, he is only dependent on God. Therefore, one should remain in seclusion or in the company of devotees, so that one can remain a fixed distance from the praise and undesirable service of outsider. If you do devotion for the purpose of getting your name, fame, your worship, your respect then you collapse.

4. Lust of Praise (Maan Barahani) - It is very sweet poison, it feels so good when someone praises, praises you, you are called a pure, brilliant devotee, it is like a very sweet knife , So that we can destroy our inner satvik feelings. They do this, it eliminates our mercy, it is through mercy that God makes us feel like a pure devotee, so one must be very careful and respectful. Honor should be treated as a poison and stay away from insults committed by inferior men, and at all times, every moment, you should keep thinking about the names of Lord Krishna and pray to him not to crave glory Mind should come and do not stay away from you even for a moment.

5. Thinking of yourself as the best - When the feeling of Gurupan starts coming in myself, I know everything, I know everything, I am the most knowledgeable, the best, just here the seeker begins to degenerate. Pride is a big flaw in itself, when it comes, you are not worthy of devotion to Bhagwat, thinking of yourself as perfect, feeling of superiority is a loss in itself, then you have fallen.

6. Exterior show - To show yourself attracted, special dress, look, decoration, which attracts people, it should not be. A pure devotee should, according to the Guru-disciple tradition, wear simplicity. The necklace, tulsi garland, tilak, dhoti, or other signs should not be worn with pretense. We wear Tilak, Kanthi for the servitude of God, but thinking that doing so will bring honor, it is wrong, thus the fall of the seeker is also certain. Misdeeds from inside, fraud, hypocrisy or hatred against other devotees and pretending to be a simplistic true Vaishnav from above are crimes. All of this is going to harm charity, it should be avoided.

7. Fault in Others (Pardosh Chintan) - When seekers start looking for the faults of others, finding their shortcomings, we do bhajan, kirtan, do nothing at all, do not do devotion at all, they pretend, Things cause collapse. Seeing the faults of others, discussing the faults of others, contemplating the faults of others is a matter of great loss. One should avoid Pardosh Darshan, Pardosh Dhyan, Pardosh Darshan because no matter how big a devotee is, if he does this, then the same qualities start to develop in him.

8. Tactuality or physical attachment in worldly tasks - A lovable devotee needs to maintain his work as much as he needs, to be absorbed in various types of work is a hindrance in devotion. The goal of the devotee should be to remember the Lord regularly and to do scriptural restrained work so that the earning of livelihood will be regular. Therefore, one should avoid physical discussions and attachments.
